Is Park View City Lahore LDA Approved?

Short answer: part of it. LDA's approved list records the original River Edge scheme with four blocks. Most blocks sold later are not part of that record. Here is what the record says and how to check a plot.

What LDA's list shows

We checked LDA's approved housing schemes list on 30 October 2026. There is no entry named "Park View City". The society appears under its original name:

Scheme nameRiver Edge
LocationMouza Shahpur Khanpur, Multan Road, Lahore
Approved area765.05 (kanal)
Approved blocksTopaz, Sapphire, Jade and Jasmine
Plots991 residential, 126 commercial
StageFinally approved

The society is not on LDA's illegal schemes list.

Why the rest is different

River Edge was approved in 2006 at about 765 kanal. Vision Group bought it in 2010 and renamed it Park View Villas, later Park View City (Profit, 2022). Since then the society has grown to many times that size with new blocks such as Tulip, Executive, Imperial, Platinum and Overseas. In 2022 a Punjab minister said LDA had issued notices about sales beyond the approved area; the developer denied wrongdoing (Profit). In 2024 Zameen reported that RUDA had approved a larger area (Zameen News), but no NOC number was published, and the developer's Lahore website makes no approval claim.

BlocksStatus
Topaz, Sapphire, Jade, JasmineOn LDA's approved list (River Edge)
Tulip, Tulip Overseas, Tulip Extension, Executive, Imperial, Jade Extension, Grand DealNot in the LDA record; developer sells and gives possession
Platinum, Crystal, Diamond, Overseas, Silver and othersNot in the LDA record; traded on resale

Does this mean I should not buy?

Not necessarily. The developer gives possession and transfers plots in the newer blocks, and many of them are built up. But approval affects bank financing, building-plan approval and long-term risk. Buy with your eyes open and check the specific plot.

How to check a plot

  1. Ask the developer's office which block and plot the file belongs to, and for the approval document of that block.
  2. Search the LDA approved schemes list for "River Edge" and see if the block is listed.
  3. Confirm ownership and dues at the developer's office before any token money.

AL-FAREED ESTATE does these checks on every deal. WhatsApp 0321-7545345 with the plot number and we will tell you what we find.
