Etihad Town Possession and Allotment Letter: Step by Step

In Etihad Town (Ittehad Town) Lahore you get possession once every installment and due is cleared, when the plot is demarcated and measured; the allotment letter follows once development charges are paid too. Construction must start within 36 months of possession, or supervision and maintenance charges apply.

Note: based on the developer's official forms (Application for Possession, Issuance of Allotment Letter) and resident instructions, November 2026.

The order of documents in Etihad Town

  1. Booking or allocation letter when you buy on the payment plan.
  2. Possession once all installments and dues are cleared: the plot is demarcated and measured.
  3. Allotment letter once all dues, including development charges, are paid.
  4. Site plan, for which a copy of the allotment letter is mandatory.
  5. Building plan approval from Etihad Town / LDA before construction, under the Etihad Town building bye-laws.
  6. Resident status after the house is complete, applied 7 days before moving in.

How to get possession

Possession is applied for on the developer's Application for Possession (form TFR-ET/2023011), after every installment and due on the plot is cleared. Attach a copy of your registration form or possession, allocation, transfer or allotment letter, and a copy of your CNIC.

  • Demarcation and measurement: the Building Control Department records the plot's front, rear and side dimensions and total area in square feet. Non-standard plots are measured as they stand on the ground.
  • Size difference: if the plot measures larger than its size, the extra area is charged; if smaller, the shortfall is refunded.
  • Record checks: IT, Finance (which issues the NDC) and Internal Audit verify the record before possession is handed over.

What you undertake at possession

  • Follow the LDA and Etihad Town construction bye-laws.
  • Do not start construction without a building plan approved by Etihad Town / LDA.
  • Start construction within 36 months of possession, or pay the applicable supervision and maintenance charges.
  • Complete construction to the approved plan in the set time, or pay enhanced supervision, maintenance and security charges under the policy at that time.

How to get the allotment letter

Once all dues, including development charges, are paid, apply on the Issuance of Allotment Letter form (TFR-ET/2023007) with:

  • Original allocation or possession letter
  • Photocopy of a valid CNIC
  • Membership form, if not already submitted
  • Membership fee, if not already deposited
  • Last payment receipt

Bring your original CNIC and original Etihad Town documents to collect the letter, and tell the developer at once if your address or phone number changes.

After you build

  • Resident status: apply in person at the society office after clearing all dues, at least 7 days before moving; household goods are not allowed in without the resident-status NOC.
  • Renting out: a rental agreement registered with the local police must reach the society office 7 days before the tenant moves in.
  • Monthly maintenance: payable before the 15th of each month; see every Etihad Town charge.

Possession in each phase

Phase 1 is developed with families living. In Phase 2 the developer handed over possession in September 2026 (Phase 2 guide). Phases 3 and 4 are on installment plans with possession payments at the end; see the payment plans.
